Glue-laminated solid walnut

Walnut comes originally from Central Asia, and is a dark, robust wood with limitless applications. The walnut tree has stone fruit with green, later brown, strongly staining pulp, which are eaten as a delicacy at Christmastime in some countries, and are used in Scandinavia for making bitter schnapps. In addition to this both leaves and fruit are used in folk medicine in the form of infused leaves, walnut oil and the walnut root itself. The wood is hard and durable, and walnut is used to make fine furniture and more recently also for worktops in exclusive kitchens. Our walnut worktops are supplied pre-oiled from the factory, and with regular maintenance the wood will continue to bring lasting satisfaction for many years to come.
